Yes, same thing here with my 2-week old i9, except my max charge is 76% – I use the OEM plug charger.
My friend has the i7 and his goes to 60%, but he’s had his for a year.
February 3, 2017 at 11:16 am #61504Same problem … also tried the mod bios but the problem remains
February 3, 2017 at 1:28 pm #61510I fix this issue simply by dischage the Whole battery and recharge it.
Now i have the 2.6 mod version. No issue here, and according to my pass test stick come with my new tab…it’s assembled in november 2016.

February 12, 2017 at 10:39 am #62082I think the problem is the bios, I honestly do not find options for the bios battery.
Someone understands us something?
I tried to drain the battery completely leaving the bios screen, now the battery reaches a maximum of 50%, before going to 56%February 14, 2017 at 10:22 pm #62210No solution?
February 14, 2017 at 10:43 pm #62213Mine is down to 84% max but I am still on the original BIOS. The original BIOS reports an incorrect capacity of 50000 mWh. The capacity of the battery is actually 38000 mWh. See:

I thought flashing a new BIOS would solve this. If it doesn’t it could be a software or hardware problem.

I Am very disappointed. Sold my iPad and bought this tablet. Lot of people on YouTube were happy with it.
Paid 370 dollar and 70 dollar to import it. The Cube is always charging, can use it for 3 hours max. Watch a lot of Netflix, so this is not a good tablet for me.
Strange you cannot find anything about in on internet..and a very bad support by Cube.
I mailed to Gearbest, but their support isn’t great either.
If someone has a fix, new battery, I will be glad to hear.
