    I know it’s a bit of a strange combination but there are specific reasons why I need a tablet with each of those characteristics. Anyone know of an 8-incher with 4G LTE support (in the USA) and HDMI out?

    don’t think so.

    you have the Teclast M89 with 7.9 inch sceen and hdmi out.

    but no LTE.

    share your phone connection over wifi?

    Yeah that’s been about the extent of my research too. I’ll probably go with the CHUWI Hi9 Pro and just connect it to a projector or monitor a different way. Thank you for the reply!

    How about the 7.9-inch iPad Mini? Does this work with iPads?

    That is a very good suggestion. It’s always been — and to this day continues to be — so much easier to project Apple mobile devices to a larger screen via an adapter cable. (Apple sure likes to charge an arm and a leg for the proprietary adapters but at least it works with a straight adapter.) Unfortunately for me the primary app I need to run only exists on Android at the moment!
