    Hi I’m about to receive a 15″ Mi Notebook Pro i5, does anyone have any advice, tips or gotchas about installing Ubuntu 17.10 specifically Kubuntu.

    Does any advice in the ArchWiki  https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xiaomi_Mi_Notebook_Air_13.3 apply to installing Ubuntu, specifically the WiFi blacklist of acer-wmi?

    Does PulseAudio work as expected?

    Thanks in advance for any info or insights people can give me.

    The only problem that I have (dual booting Win / Ubuntu 18.04) is with the fingerprint scanner. That doesn’t work unfortunately.
    Everything else, all good.
