I am eyeing on Chuwi Hi12 Dual OS, it has the similar specs but with 12″ screen, two full sized USB ports. Price is not really expensive, just add around $30 from what I pay for iWork 10 set. Reviews from Chuwi Hi12 sub forums quite great, good 7-8 hours battery life, just a bit sluggish on performance (most likely caused by that 2560×1440 screen). I am just worried the keyboard dock quality, is is as good as the iWork 10? And how big is the 12″ display, is it similar with iPad Pro?

Or should I just wait few weeks for another new product (any possible new Intel Atom releases?), because the Chuwi Hi12 is a last year product. Or I just look around for much better m3 processors tablets?

    What did you get eventually?

If you have the money to go fo an Cube i7 stylus I would say go for it. It has the core m and ssd… for almost double the price of the i work 10 but it is an actuall upgrade. For some time it was for $270 but it is back again at ~$350

Or just wait a while more for either the price of Hi12 to drop or new models to come out. I don’t fill like Hi12 is worth it $100 more than the iWork 10.

I have some money in my gearbest wallet and was thinking for a second tablet (I already have an iWork 10), but I will probably wait a few more months to see what will come out…

I got myself a Chuwi HiBook Pro, just mainly because for RMB 1199, the keyboard dock is included. Anyway, this tablet performs relatively worse than iWork 10, but still quite OK for my needs. Also this tablet has so many extra problems that I dont encounter when using iWork 10.

Chuwi Hi12 price actually quite similar, since Hi12 price is with the keyboard dock, if you buy iWork 10 with keyboard, it just around $40 difference for Samsung PLS panel, pen support, and 12″ screen.

What I don’t like from iWork i7 is, it is an old product. The price is quite good, considering you get a Core M processor and Wacom stylus, but I don’t really like to buy old product, especially for Chinese tablet that frequently releases new product every few months. However, I will surely buy those tablet if have big promotions in a beat.

I am now waiting for more affordable M3 processor tablet, or just Z8700 processor atom is good enough. I am planning to give the current HiBook to my relatives again (since the Android and Touch screen plain shit on my tablet), and replace it with more recent tablet and more powerful one.

I have to ask, and I guess this is the best suitable forums. I had some problems with my cube iwork10 (as stated in other threads), and Gearbest now wants me to send the tablet back for either an exchange or getting the money back. I like the cube iwork10 as long as it worked, except the batterytime and loading which is dreadful.

I wanted a dual boot 10″ minimum tablet, and I guess this is still the best it is for the price range? I got it really cheap, some $165 with the keyboard. I guess the other table on the market atm that would fit my needs would be the Hi12? But then I need to add another $100 and not get the keyboard.

Not an expert here, but personally if I I want a 10″ dual boot tablet, there are no better options than iWork 10 now.

When I was the iWork10 user, battery time is quite acceptable, around 4-5 hours. I can’t expect more from tablet this cheap. Loading times should be similar to any tablet using that Atom processor. Overall a good enough experience, too bad your tablet just simply broke down :(, because I even manage to drop it from 1.2m height and still alive, but I need to disassemble it because of the loose ribbon display connector because of the impact.

Chuwi HiBook performance is slower and the screen gap is so large, not considering no pen input and keyboard dock not even powering harddisk, and very hard to connect device at USB 3.0 speed. Chuwi HiBook Pro is even slower, because of 2K screen, and carrying the same set of problem. I don’t really recommend this tablet at all if iWork 10 exist at the similar / cheaper price. USB-C doesn’t bring any benefit at all, it is not a USB 3.1 standard.

If you want a 12″ tablet, there are two options iWork12 and Hi12, which is both quite a good options. Very good screen, and keyboard dock solutions. However, the processor is still an Atom, so it is expected to be slower since both are 2K screen. I believe new models of Hi12 will be released in the near future.

You can always wait for few months if you want, since Chinese tablet scene usually releases new tablet every few months from various brands. Also considering that iWork 10 not exactly new product, it is relatively an old product. Don’t expect new release of Intel Atom cheap in the near future, as Intel already stated that they will phase out Atom line up and replace it with Pentium and Celeron in the future.

Well, I’m starting to get alittle bit interested in 12″ as well, hardly used windows mode with my Iwork10 at all because of the smaller screen. The Hi12 got as I understood a good 2-3h more battery life from it? But with the larger screen and resolution, I really would like something better than the Z8300.

So I’m leaning towards resending both the table, keyboard and tampered glass (havent applied it yet), for a refund for $200, but even with the Hi12 I need to add $100 to the price I got for the Iwork10.

They refused me using express shipping as well like UPS/DHL etc, which I could have used through work, so need to pay $35 shipping the table with accessories back as well.

Imagine if any of the table makers decided to produce a 12″ dual boot, slightly better processor, Type-C USB 3.1, AC standard, shouldnt take that much more effort than what they are doing today, I would buy a tablet like that for $300.

I believe  Hi12 has a better battery, since it has a bigger battery, many people report at least they got 6 hours of battery from it.

I think we both have the same preference now, a 12″ dual boot tablet, better processor than this shitty Z8300, and USB C 3.1, Wireless AC. For that kind of specification, only Cube iWork i9 and the new i7 2.0 with Core M3 processor, but both quite expensive, especially after comparing with Telcast X3 Pro with 8GB of RAM and Wireless AC.

Also there are probably nor Android for Core M3 since Intel doesn’t support it at all. The android exist of Intel Atom just because Intel develop an Android that does support it. That is why there are only Android 5.1 for Z8300, no plan for Android 6.0 in the near future.

Indeed, it shouldnt be a problem for them to atleast use the z8750, but I guess they stocked up with to much z8300 🙁
