    Before you do that method, what I mean was the factory reset from the settings menu. That uses recovery to revert back to the factory image that’s on the drive. Try that and if it fails to fix the issues, maybe it really is a hardware fault and you should get in touch with your seller.

    Well reset was going well until it got to 64% and rebooted. Now it is in a boot loop to the android /windows selection screen and then to a 64% windows installation progress screen which lasts for a moment before it reboots.

    I’ve followed the guide to re-install Windows http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-1160-1-1.html and all seemed okay to begin with but Windows Memory Diagnostic tool is still reporting errors and Windows is still misbehaving so looks like a hardware fault. Just see how much it will cost to return it to Gearbest now….
