If you tell me how to back it up I can do it for you. Just need a tool / tutorial on how to do this
June 23, 2016 at 9:04 am #41810Oh many thanks !
There is a small utility called “Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit” who dumps in one click your BIOS in one “.BIN” file.
Just launch it, click on “Read” then “Backup” and that’s all !
It tested it on another Windows PC, it works and it’s very simple. If you can do this for me, the teclast support doesn’t answer to my mails, and AliExpress only gives me unusable solutions. But with this BIOS image you can help many people who get the same problem…
Thanks in advance ! š

July 1, 2016 at 8:05 am #42382I tried the tool. it cant find a bios on the tbook 10, so it is not possible to backup the bios with the tool.
July 1, 2016 at 10:18 am #42390Thanks for trying to backup your BIOS š
That’s strange, the BIOS in this tablet is a standard InsydeH2O from Insyde and it should be readable to make a dump.Ā Have you tried to run it fromĀ a right click with “Administrator” rights ?Ā Many people seems to be in the same situation and that would help them…
Mine will be returnedĀ back to the seller this weekend, they asked me toĀ send it for repair or refund…

July 2, 2016 at 2:16 pm #42483I was finally able to pick my tablet up and can confirm that this tool does not work, even with admin rights.
If you can wait a little longer I’ll open my tablet and make a full dump, using an external programmer. Ā I should have enough time next weekend.
My guess is that you will also need a programmer, I’ve never tried your emergency flash method and even if it would work, I don’t think that it expects a full dump. That being said, you should also backup your old bricked bios before if you use an external programmer, because it also contains unique data like the windows key, mac address etc.
(Just noticed that you send it back, well thats better anyway, but I hope this will help others here)
July 2, 2016 at 2:24 pm #42484Thanks for your help. Trying to backup or reflash BIOS with an external programmer is a good solution, but I prefer to forget the idea of disassembly because the warranty is running and the seller asked me to send back the tablet…
Such a shame that Teclast doesn’t answer to my questions or provide a BIOS update that we can put on a simple USB Key to reflash it ! :-/
Good luck in your operations !
(Sorry for my bad english I’m from France…)

September 2, 2016 at 9:00 am #48607Hello.
Any progress with BIOS dump from Teclast Tbook 10?
Urgently need bios dump in .bin format.
Please anybody help!
September 3, 2016 at 3:32 pm #48711Hello,
I made rom file from this tutorial ( I don’t know if is OK ):
Universal backup toolkit, again run as administrator and after that probably an error message box will appear saying: ” can not identify the bios” or “cannot identify the bios” . But just ignore this error because it has no effect, just select the check box next to “Custom” and from the pull down menu select your pc’s ram. ( if you have 8gb, select 8192k, if you have 16gb select 16384) and press “Read” . after that Backup button will be enabled to save the dump of your bios.

Can you give me a clue about flashing software I can use to flash .rom or .bin images for this tablet. I need to do it from flash-disk (have no OS working, can load bios only. š
Upd.: can I use Intel Manufacturing flash tool for this is not it?
