I want to buy F6 pro, but I need to install Linux system like Ubuntu on it. And I wonder if the fingerprint reader will be working normally on Linux? Thanks!

@dreax I’m afraid not, there isn’t any support for the Goodix fingerprint sensor out of the box with stock kernels. As far as I’m aware nobody has built an installable kernel patch, so you’ll need to find the correct driver and build your kernel from scratch.

In short, I wouldn’t bother. Use a password.

Not only fingerprint, touchpad is bigger issue. At least it has the touch screen working.
