April('s Fools) Sale on GB (from 11 to 18)

It seems that this tablet is once more on Flash Sale. GearBest sold them in over 300-400 pieces through few (2-3) flash sales between 21-28 March.
I realy don’t understand how can they sell in such high quantity (above 100 pieces each time) if they don’t have those devices in stock.

My last info from them is that they anticipate delivery from supplier on 15th April. We will see. Right now I can not buy it in better price than on March Intel Sale that’s why I wait for dispatch since 23rd March :(.

Same situation here. Ordered the tablet and keyboard on the 23rd, would cancel and order from somewhere else of the price was low enough, but hard to beat 170$ for the tablet and keyboard

Sometimes luck is not on our side…

I cancelled my order with Gearbest and ordered from Banggood….the tablet was shipped the next day (March 31st) but up till now it has been the slowest moving package I have ever gotten from Asia.

…2 weeks after shipment it has still not left China…whereas at the same time, I read people who ordered from Gearbest earlier are now starting to see them shipped…some have already left China…

So basically, I sacrificed 34$ of Cashbash with Gearbest against just 15$ of Cashback with Banggood and I could still get my tablet way later than people whose orders shipped way later.

…if you’re out of luck, you’re out of luck…

This seems to be the overall style of move that Gearbest pulls in order to give us a sale and profiting by purchasing cheaper in bulk possibly to avoid any leftovers.

I purchased mine in early march and it didn’t ship until the end of the 1st week in april even though they show the item in stock.

Definitely not a fan of this kind of business practice…but it’s either that or pay more at the moment. all we can do is send our complaints until we find a better option.
