Are there any interesting 7.9" Windows tablets coming out soon?

Hi everyone.  I’m interested in the Teclast X89hd.  Its a 7.9″ 2048X1536 4:3 ratio screen (ipad mini screen).

I’d prefer to get something with a newer Cherry Trail CPU.  Does anyone know if there is anything with this screen on the horizon?

Nothing yet, Maybe Teclast have plans for a X89 update with a Z8500? There will be some new cherry trails announced soon, hopefully, a 7.9″ 4:3 one.

I never got hold of a X89 to review, but that screen would be real nice with a better GPU over the current Z3735F SoC

Yes, an improved GPU is all I’m really after… and more RAM.

I’m considering the X98 Pro, but I’m currently waiting until the Asus T100HA comes out before I make a purchase.

The T100HA has USB type-C, a keyboard dock, much longer battery life, and a proper warranty.

But the X98 Pro has a far higher screen resolution, more ram and storage (compared to the entry level T100HA)

If you want to do some serious typing, the Asus T100HA will be the machine to get.Shame about the 1280 x 800 screen resolution.
