hey guys,

I received my i7 book last week and till today everything was great until I plugged in my speakers into the headphone jack.  so the problem is that when listening through the headphone jack the music switches between internal speakers and external speakers. this happens randomly when listening to a song on chrome then it continues to play through the external speakers for couple of minutes but then goes crazy and returns to normal again. my tablet is just sitting on my desk and i can not recreate the problem by moving the headphone jack either. i am really confused, is this a software issue or hardware issue?

I think the problem is only limited to chrome browser, this doesn’t happen on edge.

I find the connector to be a bit sensitive. I have to disable sound notification for when an audio device is connected/disconnected because it’s too annoying otherwise. Another idea is you can get a $10 or under usb powered- bluetooth to 3.5mm adapter then just connect a cable to your stereo… Just a thought 8)
