Hi everyone,
Quick update. So after hours upon hours of research I have tried every solution possible to fix this. Was able to find the root cause yesterday and today wrote a script to correct it.
Does anyone else still have this problem? Let me know if I should write a detailed guide to fix this or share the script.
Otherwise, I believe windows update would eventually fix this someday, its a software issue at this point. There seems to be no direct solution anywhere online, just pieces of different things that worked for different people.
Kind regards,
December 14, 2016 at 12:25 pm #58614I think it’ll be cool if you share the script, some people from the other topic didn’t fix it.

December 25, 2016 at 2:16 pm #59236i think it’s a windows fault. the only option for me that worked is following.
unplug keyboard
rotate tablet to tent mode
disable auto rotation
connect keyboardDecember 27, 2016 at 7:28 pm #59364Hi guys, sorry I was unable to respond. Very busy with job and holidays. Merry Christmas everyone!
Yes, in my case the issue was with the sensors and drivers related to the detection of tablet state. Search Convertible Slate State, that should let you google and figure it out. Sadly I cannot find the time to make detailed guide, but you need to change registry values to make it tablet state. My script changes these values but it doesn’t install automatically to run on boot. I wanted to make some money for Christmas with it, but I guess I will just share it with you. I have not found anyone fixing this issue elsewhere.
