Hi fellow X98 Pro owners –
I’m running Mirek’s roms now for months and never had any issues other than the more or less frequent crashes. A few days ago, though, my tablet wouldn’t turn on again. The battery was about 35 % charged at that point, btw.
It wouldn’t turn on, neither react to being connected to the charger nor to a PC. I left it connected to the wall charger for a few hours and noticed that it had stopped pulling energy (the charger was only lukewarm). It still wouldn’t turn on nor show any sign of life.
The next morning I was already browsing for a new tablet – and just gave the X98 a final try again. And it turned on. Without any problem. No idea what kind of Voodoo magic Teclast have built into their tablets but it seems that letting the tablet rest and clear the RAM and capacitors etc. was the solution. Never really experienced anything similar lately …
Hope a positive story like mine encourages others to not freak out (like myself) when it happens!
Now if only Mirek would release v7. 🙂
