    Hello,

I noticed something weird while watching a movie. The backlight seems to increase step by step (it is very noticable), it doesn’t seem seamless, when there are dark colours and it then switches to lighter colours. For example, going from pitch black night to sunny day in few seconds. You’ll notice the backlight going up step by step til it reaches the max level.

Backlight is set to 50% on Windows (I don’t think it has any impact since it does the same at 25% or 100%). Tried to check the Intel settings but there’s nothing relevant. Is there anything to do ? It’s not a deal breaker but well, it would be better if this could dissapear.

As far as I know, there are two options that can cause this problem. First, the energy saver mode by windows, it lowers the brightness of the screen, when the battery precentage is under X percent. The other one is in the Intel options, (right click on the desktop), you will find it in the energy saving options.

    I hope it helps.
