Do you turn off the tablet, or just suspend it??
April 9, 2016 at 6:14 am #32754only suspending
April 9, 2016 at 8:11 pm #32837My x98 plus only spend about 1% overnight in Windows but on the Android spends much more
April 10, 2016 at 5:24 pm #32948This can be true, because android dont turn off the WiFi, but i think win10 will do…
April 11, 2016 at 4:49 am #32993yesterday evening i charged the tablet, disconnected it and left it on the table. in the morning (after 12 hours) the battery was only 74%. that was on windows. do you think i have any chance for a refund? respectively you have any idea how to solve this? i have the suspicion that the tablet did not sleep at all, just the screen was off, but i dont know how i could check this
April 14, 2016 at 11:24 am #33479I discussed the same problem in a different post earlier, and I have the same problem with mine. In Android mine drain the battery very fast in standby and will not live many days in just standby, it is better in Windows, but not that good there either. Wifi stays on all the time, both in Android and Windows, so that could not be the reason for the differences. I have read some place that Android 5 has a problem with standby drain, so that might be the case.

No particular problem with my Teclast X98+ but in android does the battery usage data (found in Settings >>> Battery) provide any helpful info? Also, in android, have you tried setting the ‘keep Wi-Fi on during sleep’ switch to ‘Never’ (Settings >>> Wi-Fi >>> Advanced )?
April 14, 2016 at 8:33 pm #33557Settings > Battery does not show anything, only the battery graph. The usage per application is not available. HOwever I have installed the app Battery Monitor Widget, which is showing that Android System is responsible for draining 50% of battery.
Anyhow, when my phone with 2300 mA battery is draining less than 1% overnight with wifi enabled (so approx. 20 mA), than its not possible that a tablet with 8000 mA battery could drain 20% (1600 mA). That means if my phone would have a so high drain it would empty its battery in 12 hours without even turning the display on. Also not to forget that the phone has to maintain cellular connectivity, while the tablet don’t.
May 3, 2016 at 4:11 am #35876There is definitely something wrong with my device. Yesterday I have installed RemixOS on the tablet, as in the other thread they claim it has good battery life. Playing around with it yesterday unsuspended the device with 88% remaining. In the morning after 7 hours I am having only 50% left !!! It seems the tablet is never entering sleep mode in any OS (I can see emails being synced while it should be suspended). Sounds like a BIOS issue to me, butni have no idea hownto solve it. I am putting some hopes into bios v3.04, but it seems its impossible to get it

I guess something is wrong with your configuration or your apps.
Use BetterBatteryStats (the best for me), Wakelock detector or another app similar like this to see what is consuming power.
I also use “Better Wifi On/Off” to ensuring that the Wifi is off when the tablet is on stand-by, because this is what is causing battery drain…
This is my last statics on Android:

The tablet remain another day and a half on stand by before it was turning off…
Anyway, if you doesn’t use the tablet, turn it off completely and that’s all… 😉
May 3, 2016 at 6:14 am #35884Note that the Awake (Screen Off) time on two days is just only 40 minutes. Note also that the Wifi On is 5 hours and 10 minutes, when the screen on is 5 hour and 5 minutes, just 5 minutes more than the real use… that is what you must looking for optimize your battery on stand by.
Also apps wakelocks must be controlled. You can use Greenify or another app to ensure that this apps is not using cpu when on stand by mode.
Good Luck!
May 3, 2016 at 6:32 pm #35951thanks, i will give it a try. but i am quite sceptical, since i have the battery drain both in android and windows with clean installs
