Hi, I bought a Teclast F6 Pro. I often use the PC as a desktop PC (and therefore often constantly connected in charge). I wanted to know if and how it is possible to set a maximum charge limit (for example 80%) from BIOS UEFI to safeguard the battery life and avoid damage.
I saw that the UFI BIOS of this PC has a lot of settings, so I ask you to tell me the step by step operations.
Not possible with this notebook I’m afraid, sorry. It won’t make any difference for your purpose anyway. Just becsuse you have the notebook plugged in all the time doesn’t mean the battery is continually charging! It will only charge when necessary, usually when charge falls below a threshold like 96% or similar.
Make sure you actually use the battery at least once every few weeks and run it right down to make sure it keeps in good condition.
