Battery not charging

Battery  would not charge it displays when charger is connected only a battery with a tiny red bar ,normally it shows a slowly filling battery  the battery life is been very satisfying thus far what is the solution i have been using the standard charger supplied with it   please any constructive suggestion is welcome

Try to use another charger or cable. If the problem persists, this may indicate the broken hardware.

Thanks Anfd I have tried and currently it seems that with another cable it shows that the charger is working but the battery is not filling up,as normal it indicate  a battery level increase but it stay on one red bar strange  i have used this tablet without any problem for 9 months good battery life  and fast responses for this tablet what other suggestions??  A better charger?

thank;s andy this was solved by buying another cable

but now i have another problem since this morning my tablet only start up in windows and not proposing android or windows option what to do and if possible can i delete windows altogether and use the full rom for android
