I get way better than that, though I’m still not overly impressed with its power handling. I get about 5 hours of browsing out of it.

I changed a bunch of power settings to see how much life I could get out of it and it turns out that it is fairly easy to kill the performance. I mean make it unpleasant to use.

So far I’ve gotten away with lowering the CPU power level one notch (to 4) and limiting the CPU processing state to 75%. Brightness generally stays at 25%. Intel Graphics set to Balanced. That is good for everyday use. I ~can~ play Skyrim at its lowest settings but that does burn through battery MUCH faster. For gaming on the go I plug it into a battery pack.

Battery life also seems to improve with age. I’m guessing the thing isn’t calibrated well out of the box and it takes a few cycles for it to settle in.

Could be other issues, as well, depending on the machine: I have no illusions that QC is great on these things.

Hi Chris, I’ve adjusted allot of settings in win 10, plus updated all device drivers (w(where needed) also updated win. Seems much more stable now.

Oddly win reports say 3hrs 30 mins. Then if I boot straight to droid it says 1.5 Hrs???

so still a little odd…..

But if it keeps up its fab all round.

II think your bang on with the battery charging and conditioning. I recall other gadgets saying 1st charge for 24hrs.

I have the same problem except the charging (i dont know how to check it, now i have a Aukey 2.5A charger and it runs perfectly).

My problem is this:

Windows 10 battery duration aprox. 3h- Browsing in Edge30min, watching videos in youtube 1080p 1h30min, Office 20min

Android – only a few little time each 30min aprox 10% even playing Modern Combat 5 – 30min x 10×10% – 300min – aprox 5h

I think is a drivers problem in Windows 10 but i can´t confirm, this afternoon im going to check the duration in Android mode. If the tablet runs 5h we can discard a hardware problem and it will be a software problem in Windows 10.

I have the same problem aparently, only 33min runnign in Android and now is in 70%. This is no normal. Im going to send it to Gearbest for a replacement or money back. I remember now the first charge was wrong because their charger unit was broken and it only charge to 60%. Maybe is because of this reason.
