Yeah I have an iPad 3 and it just lasts for ever, I have my X16 along side my iPad 3 and I just let my ipad do the 24 hour tasks like music playing and net-radio which I tend to leave going all night, if I do that on my X16 I wake up with zero battery..
I fixed the problem on my Teclast Air 3G when I installed mirek190 v2.01 ROM but its main help was the fact it was “rooted” and I could then install “Deep Sleep Battery Saver” from the google play store, this app needs to be able to load up as root to work effectively.. But once I did this I got iPad comparative battery lasting performance at least in sleep mode…

I then gave the Air 3G to a relative of mine who then decided he didn’t like Android (purely because he couldn’t see his emails on with the on screen keyboard as well as he could in windows) and now only uses the windows which has similar battery problem so all that effort kind of went out the window sadly. I don’t understand why they don’t have a transparent keyboard option.
I been thinking about loading on Mireks latest rom on the X16 to get root etc and have same battery performance I gained like with the Teclast Air 3G..

January 31, 2016 at 9:45 pm #24630October 6, 2017 at 8:31 am #73078Hello,
I only recently purchased Teclast Tbook 16 Power and I immediately noticed the battery drain when the tablet was idle with Android booted.
I analysed the problem with GSAM Battery Stats and found that the source of the drain was that the kernel was trying to connect to mobile data. This tablet has no mobile data and therefore, there is no possibility to “click-off” the mobile data toggle. I know that there are a lot of apps that can do this trick, but here is my
Simple solution:
Step 1: Activate Airplane mode. When you do this Android instructs the kernel to stop looking for any kind of network.
Step 2: Turn on WiFi. Yes, WiFi can be turned on under Airplane mode. (Same applies to Bluetooth).
That’s it. No customs ROMs, no additional apps. Now the battery decrease when idle is about 1% per 2-3 hours, which I consider to be normal. In addition, I use ForceDoze to make the tablet go into Doze mode quicker. (Mine came with preinstalled Android 6.0)
I hope I helped.
December 9, 2025 at 12:03 pm #246642Battery time in stand-by mode depends on the device’s efficiency, background processes, and overall battery health. A well-optimized phone can last days without active use, conserving power intelligently. Just like checking adzan hari ini, it’s something users rely on regularly without draining extra energy.
