    personally i’d suggest taking it with you down the road to your local tech market, or phone case store, and ask if you can see how it fits in an iPad Air case.

    from what i’ve heard they are about 95% the same 🙂  the teclast is a little bit thicker, and the volume knobs are on the opposite side, so some modification would be required.  but ipad cases, because they make soooooo many of them, can be picked up for next to nothing. and there are lots of them with built in kickstands.

    unfortunetly it doesnt’ appear that any of the “smart” cases will work on the teclast tablets, as they havent got the required magnets in the chassis which is a pitty.  but i guess when we buy a $200 tablet we cant expect the world.

    I bought two cases for my X98 Air 3G.  The sleeve-like one comes from MCDODO, the other one is aluminum case with keyboard but unfortunately it does not have a brand name.

    After I bought these two cases I discovered a 3rd one, but I did not buy.  It is from B.O.W.

    I am a Chinese so I can browse and buy items in Taobao.com easily.  I am not sure if Taobao has an English site.

    Thanks for the replies. I will have a look down the market when I get chance as I am game for doing a little adjustment my self. Yea you’re right William, I would much rather have this x98 than paying more than double for anything else. I haven’t bought a Chinese tablet for a few years now since I bought a generic one off geekbuying that was crap. It barely plays Netflix for the kids without freezing.

    Thanks for the screenshots julyfish, which one do you prefer? Is there a reason why you bought more than one or do you just like a change? I will try and get on there I am sure I could guess what to click on:)

    Hi Matty,

    I bought the keyboard case first but I found I would use the X98 as tablet more than a PC, so I bought the MCDODO.

    The keyboard case provides rigid protection when the screen faces down, but the case does not hold the X98 with the screen faces up.

    I like the MCDODO better for its color (I like orange color a lot), quality (it glitters subtle) and flexible in landscape mode.

    Thanks inp I’ll check it out. I am sure I did see it being reviewed by a Russian on youtube and he said it was quite heavy because of the plastic.

    I do like the look of the mcdodo. I might take a risk on it thanks for the photos it helps! I’ll keep you informed if I get any other brands.

    Just to let you know I ordered a mcdodo julyfish. It should be with me soon. I have managed to buy one today that is meant for an ipad air but fits perfect.

    Curiously, I had a very similar cover for a iFive tablet. It was fine for a while but them the plastic back started cracking at all the corners and eventually fell off. This is a due to a flaw in the type of plastic used (the tablet was not mistreated and I did not pull the cover on and off repeatedly. This one may be fine but a heads up anyway.
