This tablet will be used in a Carputer like setup, I will be connecting a USB GPS device and running mapping software (sygic) in addition to playing music located on a large thumb drive. I don’t necessarily need a tablet for Photoshop/gaming. I would prefer USB 3.0 but am not sure it’s truly required if I’m just reading music off of a thumb drive? I have seen the score differences and read up on the Atom X5 vs Core M3, but am still not sure if I will see a major difference for my needs.
I am currently using an older Dell Venue 8 Pro and it seems to be doing the job but is not an ideal size for dash mount and lags a bit when parsing through all of the music files on my thumb drive.
All (Cube i9, iwork10/12) are within my price range but I don’t want to spend extra if I’m not going to see a difference. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
