Very happy with Chuwi Hi8 (not the pro)

    No problem of battery

It is a shame Teclast put a .3 MP front camera and 3800 mAh battery compared to Chuwi Hi8 pros 2 MP and 4000 mAh specs

However it seems  Chuwi has issues with battery and the review for those cameras was not good so not sure if it matters.

I am thinking of ordering Teclast x80 pro. Right now OOS until April 22 ish/

But I was really hoping for a  review of  the Teclast before doing so as to have to ship back stuff from US is not ideal.

Based on not finding a review , I am in limbo.

    Hi

I’m also looking for a cheap tablet with Android and Windows 10 and this Teclast X80 Pro looks pretty good especially with coupon on Banggood. Can someone dispel my doubts about quality of these tablets ? Are they really worthwhile or should I give some more money and look for something “normal” ?

After all i beggin with Cube and Chuwi 8 , but at the end i ordered an Teclast X80 Pro , basically the price is almost

the same with Gearbest, Banggood and Igogo . Was the same price concerning the flash sale that all offered ( now closed

except Igogo ) . The big problem with Igogo is that they offer a good discount but ask a lot of money with shipment ( 12 euros 15 to 60 days)

while Gearbest have free shipment with priority air mail option ( bettween 10 and 25 days ).

After all arrives a new machine , from Teclast X80 Power , with a metal case instead of plastic cover , and only 7 mm thickness instead of 9.5 mm

also they have 3 colours with Power ( white -silver- gold ) and only white with X80 Pro .

Yes, I also noticed the x80 power coming out in about a month.

Geekbuying is offering a pre-sale but I don’t see many good reviews with that company. Banggood does not know when it will actually be available.

The post above is correct, it seems the only difference is the metal cover and thinner @ 7.2 millimeters. Otherwise everything seems to be the same. ( it was my mistake in an earlier post that I said the front camera was .3 megapixels as that was what I had read in the review.)

For $30US difference I would want a better feature like the SD card slot read higher than 32GB.

    • I bought on banggood and gearbest few times in the past and i have good opinion about both 🙂
    • Yes, I saw Teclast X80 Power and a metal case looks nice, but i really don’t care about colors, I just want reliable equipment with good price.

      I think I’ll wait for @Chris G opinion 🙂

    Hi Marc,

Let me add some more info updated concerning Teclast X80 Power

1 – The first distributers with X80 Power presale were , Tiny Deai and Geekbuying , the first one in 24 hours get their quote

sold out , they have a price about 104 euros , but now have a new price of 154 euros ( unaceptable ) , Geekbuying still had about 106 euros

and available but only in white .

This is the second difference between X80 Pro and X80 Power , because Power has white , silver and light gold

Dispite being very small but you could get discount coupons at :

    Teclast X80 Power Coupons

It really seems that dont justifie this option concerning the price , specially for those who ordered at the flashsale ( less 20 euros )

    So , in conclusion :

Gearbest anounces a presale for X80 Power with 120 euros , and Banggood so far dont have any feed back but at least 30 days to

    sale .

Teclast X80 Pro , beggin tomorrow being distributed by all agents , and X80 Power only available after 10 or 15 May 2016 .

No review s on x80 pro OS power so maybe a gamble. Specs vs real world performance are not always the same.

I don’t view color as a feature to pay extra in my opinion.

I was so close in ordering the X80 Pro during the sale but I decided thast 2gb ram was too little on a windows machine. Been searching for a 4gb ram 8″ tablet but haven’t been able to find one, so the news about the X80 Power is great! I will probably order one now!

Edit: Oh, I just read the mobile coupon thing that said 4gb ram and 64gb storage. But on the official Teclast website it says 2gb ram and 32gb storage. So I guess no tablet yet. It’s 2016 why are there no 8″ tablets with 4gb!? Step it up manufacturers! Dell has a 4gb ram 8″ tablet but can’t really seem to find where I can order one from my country.

    Hi Thor,

About your coment, just noticed that you edit the same, because X80 Power is equal to Pro , except the constrution in metal and thickness, the rest is equal .I was also in doubt about Pro or Power , but i has a pre-order of X80 Pro with the flashsale price of 79 euros at Gearbest ( now 99 euros ) , and the best presal oprice o Teclast X80 Power was about 103 and 106 euros with TinyDeal and Geekbuying ( now they are between 122 and 150 euros ) , with this price it will a bad option , so i ordered the Teclast X80 Pro with less 28 euros price.  Concerning your wish of  4 GB ram and 64 GB Rom , i sugest you the best relation price quality ( in my oppinion ) Im talking about CUBE IWORK 10 .

    Regards,

    Ferreira
