Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30July 13, 2017 at 12:21 pm #69163@chris Did it worked correctly?
As a side note, i’d like to buy the Xiaomi Air as well, they are currently available as:
12.5″ 6Y30 for 390€
12.5″ 7Y30 for 440€
13.3″ 6200U for 580€The 13.3 looks promising with the better screen and more power, but i think the noise and temperature are to going to be a problem for me.
Do you think the 7Y30 would be a better choice for the 12.5″ model?July 13, 2017 at 10:52 pm #69201Yes it worked correctly, no issues. No changes I can see, maybe it just adds 7Y30 support?
My time with the 13.3 model it did get a bit too hot and loud. I’ll have the Mi Notebook 13.3 i5 7200U next week I hope. The 7Y30 is a good choice for $499, slightly faster and plays native h.265 and VP9.

Found a slightly newer version: TM1612 A05From what i can tell, the 7Y30 uses a slightly different identification (7Y30: TM1607, 6Y30: TM1612), but maybe the bios version itself is identical.
July 30, 2017 at 11:03 pm #69881Working thank you. Tested on my 6Y30 model. Now all I need to find is drivers packs for the Mi Air 13.3″ model the new 2017 kaby lake and MX150. And bios updates if released.
