Hi
A similar thing happened to me.
Yesterday I received the tablet, I turn it on and almost immediately on the screen appears the lines. I tried to restart, but the lines are also seen by the bios.
Is there any attempt to do?Attachments:

- Sending it back will cost money. Most likely the LCD cable is not seated properly. I say tap or shake it. Do the lines change /flicker? If so, it is very likely that there is loose cable or connection…
December 22, 2015 at 12:46 am #19528I just opened my Pro and trying to locate the problem with the screen . Anybody have pictures of where i shoul check the connection of the screen to reseat the cables and try to get rid of that line . The seller on aliexpress told me that it was probably a loose connection or a faulty screen. Now i want to try to reconnect the screen and see if that is the problem or if it is the screen itself.
Any info on what /where to check , redo connection , check for screen defect would be appreciated.

The problem may disappear, but it will reappear with increasing frequency until the lines are always there. You have three options: RMA; buy a new screen and install it; buy a used screen or inoperative unit with the same screen (could be a different make and model) and swap screens.
If the lines flicker when tapping the tablet on a table, the problem may be a loose ribbon cable or connector, but this is rare, while bad controller chips in cheap panels is common.
