Bluetooth range is extremely short (1-2 ft)

This is not normal behaviour. I often have a BT-keyboard and mouse connected to the tablet which is hooked to the TV via HDMI and can control the tablet from the couch.

Have you tried other devices? Any USB3 devices connected? I´ve had  problems with USB3 and WLAN/BT earlier on Intel chipsets (mac mini), but have not encountered this with the mix plus – still this most likely can vary with different devices.

I have tried multiple devices ranging from mice, keyboards and controllers. They all have the same issue of disconnecting past 1-2 feet.

I’ve uninstalled Bluetooth drivers and reinstalled, updated, all with no luck.

Shouldn’t be happening, sounds like there is something wrong with the antenna or BT module. I would get it swapped or refunded and get a new replacement.
