I have two Bmax Y13, one from March, an another from November.
Bmax from November is better, usb-c quality is better, and i feel it was improved.
But i’m having problems with video output, old bmax output video from start, you could see BIOS screen in an external monitor. But newest bmax doesn’t. Newest Bmax output video just from windows load, very strange.
Sometimes i make some errors, connecting video output, with lid closed, it makes no video controller, son if you open lid, you will get black screen. You reboot, and from now, video output not working. You will need to uninstall and reinstall graphics drivers, reboot, and now it’s working again. But after few times, connecting video output with lid closed, or before coming back from hibernation, now, video output stop working forever. I was restored windows, i was restored whole ssd from a previous clonezilla image, installed an other windows version, no luck
Old Bmax have some issues with video output, when lid closed, etc, but reboot and it’s solved. I think problem is BIOS, in new bmax, BIOS is updated, and GOP driver was updated too. With new GOP driver, i think native video output from start it’s not working. So my main idea is to get old BIOS version in my new Bmax, but there is no BIOS available for Bmax Y13 in whole internet, so i don’t know what to do.
