Recently my BmaxY13 laptop wouldn’t wake up from sleep and I had to force a power off shutdown and restart….{result was a couple software errors that reloading fixed} but it was frustrating if i had to stop what i was doing on the computer to answer phone or do other tasks it would go to sleep and any changes i had been making were lost if i didn’t save them first. After 4 separate help chats with Microsoft Support that were no help and doing a factory reset as they suggested which didn’t fix it i was about to give up. Chatting with an engineer on line he suggested that there was a bios problem. With this in mind I did a little research an found there had been a firmware update in the automatic updates i received. apparently this is what caused the problem… after a bit of checking I found the RC ACPI settings had changed. I did the following change to my bios and the keyboard/mouse wake up is working. I don’t know if this will help anyone with a similar problem but here’s the fix I used.:
Enter Bios by holding delete key during power on
Go to Advanced tab
select RC ACPI settings
Select Low Power SO Idle Capability
Select Enable
Exit back to main bios menu
select Save and Exit
Hope it might save someone else some time and frustration
