Boot into Android failed

I need help.  I am not a technical man but have owned a Chuwi Hi8 for some months.

All was fine until a few weeks ago when the boot into Android froze.  I can still boot into the Windows partition Ok but cannot get into Android either from Windows or via the direct boot.  The screen with the Android symbol comes up but gets no further.

I have no idea why this happened as I am not aware of having changed anything apart from keeping the Windows up to date for standard Windows 10 updates.

Can anyone help and guide me through what I might try.

hm, the only way is to do a factory restore of the tablet but that is a very technical procedure.
