    Hi Guys,

Same thing happened to me after OTA update. Opened a ticket with Teclast but have not received a reply yet. Maybe pressure from forums like this may hurry them up with a solution.

    Cheers

I had the exact same thing happen to my brand new Teclast Tbook 16 Power an hour after I opened the packed yesterday!  I am so mad, I’ve been struggling with this thing ever since, I even brought it in to work and had the IT office look at it, still with no luck.  Isn’t there a simple way to reset it to factory settings and start over?

    Hi guys,

I follow this topic as I have the same issue…

I really don’t understand how an official OTA update could damage the system in this way….

Please let us know if something comes out…

    Thanks

    K

    Same here.

Seems they have published a new firmware in Facebook, but procedure is complicated (and have to delete Windows too). Hope someone finds a simpliest solution…

Hello all, I had just the same problem so I tried installing the firmware and now everything is ok. It is a bit complex, because as Xavier Rodriguez says the windows partition will be deleted, so you will need to flash both of them. but if you follow the instructions it should be ok. Just 2 advices when installing the windows partition:

    1. To enter the special boot mode (I don’t remenber the name now, they say you need to press the ON, VOL+ and VOL- buttons at the same time) you need to press just the ON button at first, then just as the tablet goes on you press both VOL+ and VOL- (but not the ON button) at he same time.
    2. You need to copy the windows system image to one of the pendrives, but during boot one the big image files (it was about 8Gb) cannot be found. It was because it needed to be inside a folder called “images” in the pendrive. I am not sure if you need to copy there more of files so I copied all of them to both the root folder of the pendrive and this “images” folder. After that everything worked perfectly.

    Good luck!!
