I’m reading that I may need to try a USB hub to get access to my USB drive during boot, is this what I need to do? I also have a 32gb Samsung SD card (SDHC Pro) but it’s not recognizing when I pop it in. Any other ideas? Thanks in advanced folks!

You would need to create a bootable Windows 10 install USB if you don’t know how to do this please google it you will find plenty of results.

Then you would need a keyboard and when the tablet boots up and on the chinese logo you would need to press delete till it goes to BIOS.

If you created you USB correctly you can go to the boot or save & exit tab where you can select your USB as a bootable device.

I hope the above helps.. good luck!

That’s exactly what I did. I’ve created many boot drives from the Windows media creation tool but when I go into the BIOS there is no option to change the boot sequence to boot from the USB drive. I tried both ports on the keyboard to see of it recognizes it but still have had no luck. I know the drive was created properly because it will work on my desktop and other laptop…

Maybe your keyboard or usb hub doesn’t power the usb correctly?

I have the official keyboard with 2 full size usb connection thats what I use and didn’t have any issues.

The other thing you can check is the secure boot. Make sure its disabled. If this still wouldn’t solve your problem I probably can’t help you sorry.

I also have the official keyboard, I bought them together from Gearbest.com. At some point I managed to get it to boot from a different USB drive within Windows and was able to complete a clean install of windows. I’ve got 99% of the drivers installed with the exception of the Camera Sensor and one other that’s stating “unknown”. Working on these things now, but the device is working well! I believe the SD card I was using is corrupt/inaccessible so I ditched it. I wish this device had the following the i9 gets on XDA :/
