that is based on android-x86… you can already download it now (remix os is still not released) and try it if you want… actually, i would be interesting. but main problems would be getting stuff like touchscreen and accelerator working
January 9, 2016 at 9:32 pm #21711hey guys, just wanted to let you know, running android on V200 (with updated bios to x64) using bluestacks … not good experience at all (for example cant get it to align right to fit screen, its still rotating and adjusting size od the adroid strangely, anyways very slow overall), but here are some antutu test results 😉

January 26, 2016 at 9:52 am #23813Hrmmm … oddly, I can’t at present. When I first tested it all was fine – started up OK, install of gApps apks worked, and it imported & installed all my apps and settings from an existing Google tablet profile. Performance seemed very good – smooth and fast with no incompatibilities that I could find, although I didn’t run any actual benchmarks.
I’m on Windows 10 Home 64 -bit and AMI DuOS is running poorly. Any tips?
January 26, 2016 at 1:44 pm #23832For my part I use NOX http://en.bignox.com/ Player app which is really good compared to all the ones I try before as Amiduos or bluestark ect …
You can choose the resolution, there are shortcut can be put to full screen.
I just made a bench with Antutu and got 21452January 26, 2016 at 3:32 pm #23857Thanks for the suggestion! I’m definitely getting better results but still not what I’m looking for. I wonder if it would be possible to create a bootable USB drive with a UEFI compatible image of Android x-86.

Thanks in advance.

this is interesting.
i think you could try to flash the Hi12 android rom when it will come out and that will probably work 100% (i bet the hi10 and hi12 share the same motherboard)
February 3, 2016 at 4:32 pm #24864Hey guys, my Hi10(V300) successfully booted into Marshmallow 🙂 (sorry for ugly pic)
You may want to prepare
- the latest android-x86 image (android-x86-6.0_20160129.iso) (from here) — kudos to Chi-Wei and his team!
- Android x86 Easy Installer by ExtremeGTX
- USB3.0 thumb drive(>= 4GB)
- USB keyboard & mouse
After the installation, open EFI/Android/grub.cfg and remove “_64” (from “android_x86_64”).
Some of the important features(such as eMMC, wifi and battery status) are not working , so Kazama-san’s method is still better yet.
However, thanks to developers, we already have drivers for wifi & bluetooth in the Linux kernel (may be, the touchscreen driver is also available?).
In the near future, our Hi10 will be the beast!
