i did that in windows 10 even i tried on a second windows 10 tablet and same thing, the driver shown unknown device in device manager.

for picture ordination, how could change image ordination?? the three options chosen as per pdf image but it shows the wrong ordination you mentioned, how could choose the right one?

and actually i don’t know why device manager show it as unknown device on both windows 10 machine!
and on win7 machine it shows as USB-EPP/I2C… CH341A and was able to update the unknown driver in this win7 device manager manually. but it can’t detect the chip here.

You cannot have program open while installing driver, must be this order:

    plug device

install driver or if already installed, uninstall / reinstall

    open program

in continue with driver grapped from online microsoft updating, i was able to erase, blank, write ,verify as per screenshot. but at end tablet not powering on, power led not blink with charger!
My issue is same one as yours, usb was inserted powered off tablet ,power it on, nothing appear in screen but usb was blinking after a minute i forced power off the tablet, power it again so nothing and power led blinked for seconds and then dead!!

so it’s not a corrupt BIOS here or what :(? and by the way picture ordination is show the wrong one in attached screenshot and i didn’t get your point on the related message.

Your battery maybe very low so need a good charge before can boot. The charge light does not always flash in this condition so give it some more hours charging. When I tested mine the voltage of battery was down to 3.3 volts and I could not boot until above 3.7v then a whole day to fully charge. Now it’s completely back to normal.

i would thanks you so much Bill for help and support, really appreciated! Now Tablet back to life!!! 😀

I soldering the +ve back but without Flux so it was hard to do. searched for the flux but didn’t find it around. bad soldering done but OK as it works for now.

I was measureing the voltage and it was around 2V and i monitoried it till reach 3.75 and power it on and wow it works! 😀 i found it’s 15% only, i used latest firmware that should have the shutdowns issue solved and it can go to 0% not 21% as in previous firmware.

I would thank you again! 🙂
update: in 3 hours it charges to additional 35% while to be total of 50% it’s poweredoff during charging and i only booted three times to see progress, means it could take 9 hours to full charge while it’s poweredoff! is this normal for first charge after firmware burning or it could be another issue in power circuit?

That’s great news, I’m glad to hear that you were successful! 🙂

Mine seemed slow to charge on first charge also but now it is back to normal, can definitely make 100% overnight.

how many normal charging hours while it’s poweroff and how many if charging while it’s on?

I had the tablet dead after a week of purchase and i saw it’s slow charging but not remember exactly how many hours it need to charge during poweroff and during operation?

Do you have dualboot version and is the original charger 2.5A or 3A you received?

I haven’t timed exactly but I think it takes around 7 hours to charge powered off. It’s not using the full output of the original charger or another charger I tried. It seems max is about 1.5 amps, maybe they reduce for safety. If you try to charge while using it will take for ever because most power is going to display or cpu so best to charge powered off. Nice big battery though, can get 8 hours use.

    Hi Guys!

I’ve been waiting the re-programming tools for so long to fix the corrupted Teclast BIOS update (thanks Chuwi for bricking my table), I did all the proccess and everything goes well as expected on the Bill Christiansen tutorial, the tablet is working but the screen is black, I had to connect it by HDMI to see it was working, Then I was checking if the screen ribbon cable was ok and it was well placed as it was before the wrong teclast update appeared..

Do you have any idea why my screen is not turning on, where the problem is? is it possible something about disconnecting and connecting the battery? something like after doing this, the screen panel is not getting enough power? It’s so annoying that the tablet is working but the screen is black.. hope anyone put some light on this, thanks
