I’ve replaced it on other tablets. Not an easy task.
You need to unscrew the 4 screen on each corner (Torx T4 I think it is) and separate the front plastic and screen half from the unibody metal rear. Use an old credit or debit card. Unplug the screen digitizer plug from the motherboard. If it’s glued in place, use a pin to pick out the resin.
Be very careful with the clip.
Remove the old screen and any glass from the black plastic. Careful not to scratch the IPS screen.
Clean it as best you can, then feed the digitizer plug through the gap in the front black housing. Remove the adhesive cover on the new glass and then stick in in place. Plug in the digizter panel. Test it works, put it all back together. It will never be the same I’ve noticed since to scratches on the IPS panel, but it should be a working tablet again! best of luck.
