Hi there. New to the scene. Just a quick question for all you fine folks on here.

With rumors circulating on a new version of the Vi10 going around with a new cherry trail processor, would it still be a good idea to grab the current Vi10? Right now, on GearBest, it’s listing the price as $140 USD, with that price ending in 3 days. Has that price, historically, gotten any lower or is that the lowest thus far? What do you guys think?

That’s it for now. Thanks for the feedback!

If that’s for the 64 GB version then it’s a great deal and one of the lowest I’ve seen. I just got my Vi10 Pro 64Gb a couple weeks ago and paid $210 with a keyboard case. Even seeing it cheaper now I still have no regret in buying it. As for the newer model it seems to only be a minor speed bump in CPU and possibly 4GB RAM instead of 2. Inly thing that would make me wish I’d waited is if the new one fully supports 64bit OS’s

Unfortunately, the price for the 64GB isnt $140 USD but, again on gearbest, it is going for $162 USD, which isnt that bad either. Personally I’m under an extreme budget so I’m lookin to keep things under $200 CAD, which means I’ll just have to spring for the regular 32 GB model, which is fine by me since I own a good 64 GB microSD card (that exchange rate is absolutely killer right now, ugh).

So… thumbs up I guess? Time to spring for it? Lol. Hmmmm….!

@Zellot: Nothing is stopping you to install 64bit windows on the Vi10 as far as I know. the z3736f is 64bit. All you have to do is spring for the new windows license.

The EUFI BIOS is only 32 Bit plus on the 2GB ram units it’s not worth it as there would be no gain.
