I’ve seen the x2 pro’s digitizer referred to as a wacom. The review said it’s similar to the Venue 11 which is Synaptics. Is it possible it’s Atmel or N-Trig?
I haven’t seen a definite answer from anyone. Can someone who had the thing apart confirm what’s in there?
I appreciate it, Thanks.
December 12, 2015 at 12:58 am #18249I’m almost sure that is a Synaptics stylus like the Dell’s ones.
December 14, 2015 at 7:41 pm #18606Goodix Digitalizer. (probably a proprietary feature)
UPDATE: I’m testing it and it works absolutely great. Palm rejection works when you touch the screen with the stylus.

December 25, 2015 at 12:12 am #19864The pen that works on the X2 Pro is N-Trig. Received my X2 Pro today, and it recognized the pen upon first boot. The Wacom pen does not use a battery. The N-Trig pen requires an AAAA battery.
January 6, 2016 at 9:30 am #21359Hello,
Can I use different brands of Active Pens? Like Sony VAIO original Digitizer Stylus Pen VGP-STD2?
Can anyone recommend a better(if there) one?
Thnx in advance!January 30, 2016 at 1:07 pm #24411Is anyone using a Surface pro 3 stylus on the x2 pro?
February 2, 2016 at 12:49 pm #24776Hello,
Has anyone tried a stylus different from the original ?.
I tested a 750-DELL AAHC, but I did not get it recognized.
Thanks
February 21, 2017 at 8:25 pm #62551I’m also looking for alternative stylus’ for the X2 pro, as the original stylus is no longer being produced and thus is nearly impossible to buy.
Could we maybe find compatible stylus’ from taking apart the tablet and looking for the chip responsible for the active stylus technology, or maybe disassembling the drivers used for the sensor?
