Can Mi Pad 2 use I pad mini case

Hi All,

Has anyone tried the Mi Pad 2 in any I Pad mini accessories especially keyboard cases with magnetic catches?

Also does the Mi Pad 2 have the magnetic awake mechanism of the ipads? so it turns on the screen when you open a cover.

There are smart covers which can wake up and put to sleep the Mi Pad 2.  I’m not sure if iPad mini accessories fit the Mi Pad 2

i use the mipad 2 with an ipad mini keyboard, the belkin fastfit, and the magnetic catch don’t work, the mipad 2 isn’t magnetic, and putting the tablet in front of the keyboard don’t put it to sleep.

But windows recognize the keyboard and you can type normally on it (there’s just some key missing, like escape, ctrl or delete) and the tablet fit the space in the keyboard given that the dimension is the same (20cm) as ipad mini
