My Chuwi Hi 12 Tablet came with a white horizontal bar that covers a small section of the screen. Don’t think its software or GPU issue as it displays well when connected to an external display.
Does anyone have an idea how to repair such an issue or is their any place available to buy a new display? Thanks for your response

Another forum user posted a similar issue with his Chuwi Hi 12 tablet see https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/would-you-say-this-tablet-has-a-defective-display/Do you think this can be a reparable issue (as with loose ribbon cable) or a manufacturing fault?
April 10, 2017 at 10:04 pm #65039I have also opened it up and saw that the battery and every other thing is intact
April 10, 2017 at 10:32 pm #65040If the ribbon is plugged in fine, hardware fault.
But first, unplug the screen ribbon (Flip up the clip) and then put in back in and push it down and try again.
