It seems the google play libraries are too old to connect to the current api’s.

I flashed the new rom that is posted on chuwi’s page and then i worked.

Hello. I have the same problem. Chuwi Hi10 Pro  serial HQ. Tried install twrp and install GAAps. Ruined Android part. No wifi and touchscreen ceased to work .After that I find Android package ( official site  link is dead)  and flash it. Now Android is working again….with the same problem.

For flash you need 1.Intel Platform Flash Tool 2. Firmware 3. flash-no-erase-all.json file to put into unzipped firmware ( there are only flash.json file ,so

your windows partition  will be erased.)

If you put flash-no-erase-all.json  file in to unzipped android firmware and  point to it in Intel platform flash tool ( you need to take RESTORE option in flash tool)  so Windows partition will be ok

It depends on Hi10Pro model.People with PQ serial reflash Android with Cyanogen Mod (CM 12 or CM13) with no problem. Here the link to one of the sites.

    http://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/378038-devrom912-cyanogenmod-13-android-601-for-chuwi-vi10-plus-hi10-plus-hi10-pro-hibook-pro-hi12/

I am not so lucky, latest model HQ have another touchscreen controller. So I tried to  install CM 12 (no Cm13 for HQ64 due to hardware change) , install it, Google finally works but touchscreen orientation ruined everything. Its landscape if you use it in portrait position and portrait in landscape.

And you must be VERY CAREFUL in choosing the packages. First you need to unlock it, next – remove dm protection, after that you can flash CM. There is a very helpful forum but it is in Russian only. So the software package (Flash tool, firmware and no-erase file is a must if you try to flash tablet by yourself.

I used the no erase file abs and flashed the latest hq android but still no google account.  I really think chuwi should be doing something about this, I definitely won’t recommend chuwi to any one.

I also had this problem with HQ serial number Hi10 Pro with android, not remix. After a week of struggling I managed to solve the issue. I will not mention everything I tried as it will take a week (I am a two finger typer).

So straight to how I managed to solve the issue. Just re flashing what is on the CHUWI download page makes no difference, the problem still existed. My other CHUWI, a Hi10 Plus does not have the google account issue so I decided to try the Android version on the CHUWI site for that on my Pro.

It was somewhat better but the orientation was totally wrong and the touch seems to be calibrated for the larger screen so I had to use it with the keyboard to do the setup, which was a challenge since everything is out by 90degrees, including the trackpad. Big upside, google login worked.

Next, since I had both versions downloaded (Don’t forget to copy the flash-no-erase-all.json file into the folder as well) from the CHUWI site, I made a hybrid file. First into the file was the android file for the Pro. In this file, I deleted the “system” file. Next I copied the “system” file from the PLUS folder and placed it in the Hybrid folder I created.

Connect the tablet to my laptop and start the Intel platform flash tool. I selected my new “hybrid” folder and start flash. Just remember to use flash no erase all and recovery as the configuration because you don’t want to lose the windows partition.

After the flash, I started it in android and now on start-up where the “intel inside” logo use to appear, it now says android. The orientation is still off with 90 deg but the touch screen is working as it should. After the setup, and yes, the google account is up and running and I am downloading from my google history, I went to settings, kept rotating the tablet till I got to landscape and switched off the auto rotate.

I know the fix is not perfect considering the orientation issue, but other than that, the google account is working.

Please note I am not a programmer, I took a chance and it worked. This was my first attempt at flashing any device, necessitated by the google account issue. This took hours of trying and watching many YouTube videos. Hope this saves you some time.

Now if anyone can solve my screen orientation issue (android only, windows is still normal), please feel free to add to the thread.

    Thanks
