I got my tablet today and when it restarted for the first time it wouldn’t boot up again.

Not a massive problem, I thought, as I ideally wanted to put one of my WIndows 10 Pro licenses on it. I’ve created a bootable USB stick using Rufus ensuring that it’s a GPT partition but the tablet never sees it. I can set the primary boot device in the BIOS to be “USB Key” but when the tablet boots I just get a blank/black screen. When I can get it into Windows Boot manager then it never show me the USB stick as a bootable device.

So I’m kind of stuck with a tablet that doesn’t do anything.

Has anybody had any luck with installing Windows 10 from fresh using a bootable USB stick?

Many thanks in advance of any help you may be able to provide.

Have you tried booting from the USB stick on another computer to make sure that it functions properly ?

I managed to get all issues resolved.

Unbeknown to me, my Chuwi Hi10 had come with 32bit BIOS so none of my 64bit ISOs would boot.

I managed to upgrade the BIOS using the pinned thread on here and then was able to install my ISO.

    Thanks for the reply though!
