    Hi,

    I just got Mi Pad 2 from Gearbest. It won’t let me change the locale from China. And it won’t update or download any apps…keeps giving me a 963 error. Is there anything to be done about this without rooting and flashing? I have some experience doing that, but not a lot.

    I have exactly the same issue and have not found a solution yet. Any suggestions please?

    I’m at wit’s end with this thing. Nothing I have done has worked. I can’t even unlock it. I was trying that so that I could apply the fastboot rom which some folks said worked for them. Nothing.

    Have I just flat out got a lemon? Or do I just not know that i’m doing?
