    Ok, I was able to flash the stock Android image (as found here: http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-169-1-1.html) using DnX mode and the Intel Manufacturing Flash Tool but that has not helped. For some reason I still do not have touchscreen and of course this has not fixed the USB / keyboard issue. Question is, is there a way to use fastboot or ADB to flash the original BIOS. Somebody?

    Thanx to the SetupFixer tool created by forum member Jonathan I was able to reenable the USB and I know have full access to my tablet again. Thanx again Jonathan!!!
