Hello,
Rrecently I bought a black cdk09 for my cube mix plus and it doesn’t work.
The magnetic part about detecting keyboard works, but the keyboard doesn’t type anything, touchpad doesn’t move the cursor, usb ports don’t work either. Is there any solution for this, such as missing drivers? In the keyboard section I got “standard ps/2 keyboard” that I can’t neither update or remove as it reinstall itself every time. I sort of hope it wasn’t a DoA device.
Thank you in advance for any help!
September 29, 2017 at 7:15 pm #72827Hello,
don’t really know what it could be … but maybe you can try the following :
can you clean the copper contacts at the bottom of the tablet and also check the pin of the keyboard ?
does the Caps Lock led lights up when you press it ? and the “lock touchpad” key led ?
do you hear a sound (like a USB peripheral plugged in or out), when plugging or removing the keyboard ?
When unpluggin my CDK09 I see a “PIH peripheral” that disappear from the “keyboard” group in Device Manager (3 “PIH peripheral” displayed instead of 4 – note that I translate from French). (Standard PS/2 is always displayed even when keyboard is off).

Hey, thanks for answering.
Caps Lock, doesn’t seem to work,
The lock touchpad key works.I did connect usb fan and it works
there’s no usb sound and no pih device in the Device Manager
Maybe… windows deleted drivers when updating during the 1st boot?
Or maybe shop sent me a keyboard for cube i7?
October 1, 2017 at 6:39 am #72876And are you sure the pin are properly connecting between the tablet and keyboard ?
I don’t think it is a windows creator driver issue.
Can you enter the bios setup by pressing ESC or DEL or F2 (I don’t remember) … maybe legacy USB keyboard is disabled ?
and try by connecting a full size external USB keyboard. (Setup should work with the external keyboard)
October 19, 2017 at 9:25 am #73641I got a new one and it’s working, I’m typing this from my cube mix. No drivers were required, so I guess I received broken keyboard previously.
Pins don’t really have to stick that tightly. Pins stick out a lot.
Thank you for your help!
