The internals of the chwui 14.1 have upgraded and now you can fit a 2242 or even 2280 without any issues of the metal bar getting in the way. Basically they have shorten the bar and included a metal clip for 2242 drives or remove the metal clip for 2280 drives.

Where did you buy your LapBook 14.1?
I would like to buy this newer type with the SSD clip and use a 3D printer to make more copies of the clip.
But to make sure to get the correct one, I better buy it from the seller that provided yours.
So; where did you get it from?

If you live in the UK I can send you the clip for the cost of a beer as I have removed mine.

I live in The Netherlands. Postage cost of a bubble envelope would be fairly low.
Would the equivalent of two beers suffice?
If so, send me a PM so that I can provide address details.
Thanks in advance!
