Hey, I know people don’t like it when people repeat questions, but I’m having trouble learning how to re-partition my x98 pro. I saw the excel spreadsheets, and someone else with a similar question to mine that went unanswered. Plus some extra googling on XDA and what-not.

TLDR: I want to change my android to 10~gb and the rest for windows.

Is there a way I can do this from inside windows? Like from the drive manager? I’ve seen the Gparted program, but I feel a bit out of my depth when I read the instructions.

I think I read on another forum I can read/write things to the android partitioned drive from windows? Is this possible? It seems like an easier fix.

Is there a simple way to go about this? If I do re-partition, will I delete all my data on both windows and android?

    Thanks very much in advance.

Here’s the workaround that I am currently using. It allows me to read and write the partitioned android section from Windows. http://www.ext2fsd.com/

before, with X98  3g model the partion table was handle by partition.tbl and now with X98 Pro by Gpt.bin file

partition.tbl can be easy edited, but not the Gpt.bin, so we are stuck for now

the only way is resize partition after … with Gparted (linux) …. and not really easy, for noob like you say 🙂
