    Has anybody tried charging the Hibook with a 2A charger instead of the supplied 3A charger until I get a decent 3A charger? Would rather not have to use an adapter for UK socket and wondering if it will charge with 2A and is it safe to do so i.e. the Hibook won’t try to draw 3A from a 2A charger?

    Perfectly safe, it will only charge slower. As long as the voltage is the same you’re fine.
