Is your charging problem present when the Cube is in Windows, in Android, or in both? If it is only in Windows it may well be a software issue rather than the hardware. I say this not because I have expertise (I dont) but because I have found a host of posts in MS forums dating from 2015 to the present, from users of a great many different brands of laptop / tablet, identifying Windows 10 as the source of the problem —- it is labelled as “plugged in not charging.” Plus if you do searches like “laptop plugged in but not working” you will find many other articles. A range of different fixes have worked. If Android is also affected then I fear this may be of little use to you.
