Thank you Simone. I bought a similar hub and agree that is a good way to go. I just wondered if it was meant to be possible to charge via any other USB port (for example on the keyboard) but that does not seem to be the case. If it was possible to charge via another port, it would free up an additional USB-C port. I suspect it does not really matter if the USB-C port is 5Gbps (like USB 3.0). I know USB-C and USB 3.1 are capable of 10Gbps but I expect the Hi13 may be 5GBps anyway.
In fact I find that the only way to get power through my USB hub is via its one USB-C socket and hence I only have USB 3.0 sockets on the hub for my SSD which I know is capable of 10Gbps so it is reduced to 5Gbps. But I expect all of this is academic anyway and 5Gbps is more than adequate for the Hi13.
