My Cube i7 has a charging Port that now requires that I move the cord just right in order to keep it charging.

Should I just send it back to china for warranty repair? Has anyone looked at the plug while it is open. Is it in a location where I could bend the pins back in place allowing better contact to the 12 volt plug? I’m sure it’s nothing more than undo stress that I somehow how placed on the plug. Probably while laying in bed watching a movie because of the fantastic battery life (sarcasm).

    Hi!

Few months ago, my tablet fell down from the table, while it was charging; and it landed on the plugged in charger pin. Since then, I had the same problem as you, I had to apply force to the cord in a specific direction, to get the tablet charging. Today I finally got the courage to open my tablet up, and I discovered, that one of the pins of the charging port was not properly connected to the board (see image).

Somehow, I managed to solder it back into place, and now it works just fine.
