Cheap chinese tablet for GPS application

Hello everyone,

I am new here and I haven’t found the information I need on the existing topics.

I am looking for a cheap tablet, around $60 max, for use primarily as a GPS. I really want it to be cheap because I will be using it on the water on my kayak, it will be in a waterproof case, but I don’t want anything too fancy.

 

If you have recommendations, i’d be glad to hear them!

Rorcal, did you find anything?

Did you consider a used phone, since most phones have GPS?  I don’t think you’d need a cell network or subscription just for GPS.

Hi, thanks for the answer.

I have not bought anything and I am still considering my options… a phone would do the job, but then I would need a big screen (I’d really like a 5 inch at least, because I will use GPS and sonar on it). and “waterproof”, or at least water resistant.
