I just bought a used Cube Mix Plus and would like to dabble in stylus use. So I want an inexpensive EMR stylus.
Good styli can be either side of $100. But I understand that at least older Samsung s-pens are EMR and I can find a quite inexpensive clone s-pen for a very low price: https://www.amazon.ca/Phoneix-Replacement-Samsung-Verizon-T-Mobile/dp/B079HVJ9L7/
Does anyone know if the Samsung Galaxy Note 5’s s-pen is EMR?
Unfortunately, EMR is also that acronym for Elector-Magnetic Radiation, so googling for a phone + EMR gets a completely different set of hits
This seems to suggest that the Galaxy Note 5 uses an EMR digitizer: https://www.reddit.com/r/stylus/wiki/index
Another trouble with s-pens is that they are small so that they can be stored in a silo within a phone. I think that also means that they are awkward and they don’t have an eraser.
Any recommendations for an inexpensive but nicer EMR stylus?

Thanks for your advice. I may not be able to find that stylus.

April 16, 2018 at 10:50 pm #142025I just received original Fujitsu Lifebook stylus, which is rebranded Wacom UP-815E. Same as UP-817E recommended above, it has two buttons and works pretty well, so I can certainly recommend it.
I bought it in original packing from Ebuy for 15 bucks here, but you can get one even cheaper from China if you don’t mind a device with unclear origin without original packing. I have seen them as low as six bucks…
