Mine Cube i9 is fine but some people have problems on this forum.
I also have a teclast x98 plus and a teclast x89. I didn’t have many problems with them.
There usually aren’t any affordable alternatives available outside of china.

One problem with the cheaper tablets is however that they only have 64gb internal storage.
64gb is really only enough for light computer work.

Tbh, I don’t think people post about working tablets unless asked to in a survey.

I didn’t post abt my iwork8 until it hit problems.  So its a risk, but on the other hand, when you get a working tablet, it really is pretty great.

I’ve ordered about 30 tablets or more now and most have been good a few with problem ones like the Onda v919 Core M and the Chuwi Hi8. But normally people don’t post in the forums, only people with issues or wanting help. That’s how it is, but as I’ve always said it is a lottery, by two and one could be a faulty unit. The quality control isn’t there like household known brands.

I know it’s an old post but here goes. I have received my Chuwi hi12 about a week ago, and its working fine (touch wood), i’m really happy with it. I have only posted a couple of times. If i’d have had problems I would have posted more in order to get help.

Before I found ‘techtablets.com’I ordered a surface pro 4 and a HP spectre x2, both are similar form factors to the Chuwi, and both I had to send back. One for bad light bleed and the others screen was a had a dirty brown haze.

If you looked at the surface forums on reddit, it was full of people unhappy with the product, so I think forums can give a skewed impression.  But no doubt, Chinese tablets seem like a bit of a gamble. But so far i’m happy. Waiting on a cube i9, hopefully that trend continues.

Thank you guys for your feedback. I’m gonna wait for Chris’s review of the teclast tbook 10 but I’m probably gonna go for a cube tablet. I’m gonna buy it from a french website which offers a real warranty in france. Of course the tablet is much more expensive but I’m willing to pay the extra money in order to be sure to have a working product.
